Itsabiiity to generate eiectric energy is based on an internalchemical reaction. This reaction is easily influenced byambient temperature and humidity. and the usefuloperatton time that the Battery can provide becomesshorter at high and low temperatures. When used inextremely cold surroundings, the Battery may only beable to provide approximately 5 minutes of operationtime. If the Battery becomes extremely hot. a protectionfunction is activated and prevents the use of the Batteryfor some time.After Use, Always Remove the Battery.Be sure to remove the Battery fram the Movie Camera.(If it is attached to the Movie Camera. a small amountofelectric current is consurned even if the Movie Camera isturned off.) Leaving the Baiiery attached to Ihe MovieCamera for a very long time could cause it to becomeexcessively discharged, so that it cannot be used anymore even aiter charging.Discarding a Battery That Has BecomeUnusable*The usable life of the Battery is limited.*Do not throw the Battery in a fire because it couldexplode.Keep the Battery's Terrnlnals Clean.Be careful that the terminals da not get plugged up withdust. dirt or other substances.If you accidentally drop the Battery. confirm that theBattery itself and the terminals are not deformed.Attaching a deformed Battery to the Movie Camera or tothe AC Adaptor could damage the Movie Camera or theAC Adaptor.
