35OPEN1231CARD ModeUsing a CardA Card can be used to record files or play back files.≥Use genuine card only.ªInserting a CardBefore inserting a Card, be sure to turn off the Movie Camera.1 Slide the [OPEN] Lever to open the Card Slot Cover.2 While holding the Card with its cut corner facing right, insertit into the Card Slot.3 Close the Card Slot Cover securely.Taking out a CardOpen the Card Slot cover and push the side of the card in the middle andthen pull it straight out to remove the card.≥After removing the card, close the Card Slot cover.ª[ACCESS] Lamp 1While the Movie Camera is making an access to the Card (reading,recording, playback, erasing or moving of images), the [ACCESS] Lamplights up.≥While the [ACCESS] Lamp is on, never attempt to open the Card SlotCover, to pull out the Card, to turn off the Movie Camera, or to switch the[TAPE/CARD] Selector or the Card Mode Selector. Such actions willdamage the Card, cause loss of recorded data and cause the MovieCamera to malfunction.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Recording on a CardThree kinds of data can be recorded by selecting with the [PICTURE/MPEG4/VOICE] Selector.
