A built-in rechargeable lithium battery inside theMovie Camera maintains the operation of thebuilt-in clock when the Movie Camera is not inoperation. Whenever the Movie Camera is inoperation, it automatically recharges this battery.However, if you don’t use the Movie Camera for avery long time, the lithium battery can becomeexhausted.In this case, the Indication in the Viewfinderflashes.If the “(§)” Indication in the Viewfinder flashes forapprox. 10 seconds when you turn the MovieCamera on, the lithium battery is exhausted andmust be charged it as follows.1 Connect the Movie Camera (with power offcondition) to the AC Adaptor and wait forapprox. 4 hours (NV-RX7A) or 8 hours(NV-RX3A).NV-RX3A only:•After charging the lithium battery, theIndication still flashes to remind you to setthe date and time as explained below.•After charging the lithium battery in this way, itcan maintain the operation of the clock forapprox, three months.Information for your safetyWARNINGTHE LITHIUM BATTERY IN THIS UNITMUST ONLY BE REPLACED BYQUALIFIED PERSONNEL.
