Theremoval of head cleaning tape is not covered bywarranty.CondensationIf Condensation Has Formed Inside the MovieCamera, Recording is Not Possible.■ Symptoms of Condensation• If the following symptoms occur, condensationhas formed inside the Movie Camera.O The Condensation Indication in the Viewfinderflashes.(After this indication flashes for a fewseconds, the Movie Camera will automaticallyturn itself off again.)© When turning on the Movie Camera, it turnsitself off.(However, the Movie Camera also turns itselfoff when the Battery Pack is exhausted.)■ Remedy•Wait a few hours before operating the MovieCamera again.(The actual time depends on the surroundingconditions.)•Turn on the Movie Camera.•Confirm that the Condensation Indication is notdisplayed any more.• For added safety, wait about 1 more hour.■ Remarks about Condensation• Condensation can form if the Movie Camera issuddenly brought from cold surroundings to aplace where it is hot or humid.• Since condensation forms gradually, there mayalready be some condensation inside the MovieCamera even before the Condensation Indicationbegins to flash.• In an extremely cold place, condensation mayfreeze and turn into frost. As the Movie Cameracannot detect frost, the Condensation Indicationdoes not appear until the frost melts.■ Precautions against CondensationWhen moving it from a very cold place to a verywarm place, keep it in a tightly closed plastic bagor similar to prevent condensation from forming.61 Miscellaneous/Care of Unit
