22Importing presentation files created usingMicrosoft PowerPoint##### Check the size in the Slide sizedrop-down list box.The projector can project JPEG imageswhich are of XGA size, so Slide sizeshould be set to "XGA (1024 x 768)".Note:B If Slide size is set to SXGA size, youcan create JPEG files with themaximum quality, but they will beconverted to XGA size when they areprojected by the projector. Further-more, the file size will also becomebigger. (This will reduce the numberof images which can be stored on asingle SD memory card.) In addition,Slide size can be set to SVGA size toreduce the file size, but when suchimages are projected by the projector,they will be increased to XGA size,resulting in losses in picture quality.$$$$$ Click Import Slide, and then selectthe presentation file to import.An Open window such as the oneshown in the illustration willappear. Use the drop-down listbox or double-click the foldericons to navigate to the locationof the presentation file to beconverted, and then select the fileto be converted and click Open.Note:B Only presentation files which are inPPT format (which have a .ppt exten-sion) can be imported. For files in otherformats (such as those with .ppsextensions), open the file in PowerPointand re-save it in PPT format.%%%%% An import window such as theone in the illustration will appear.If you wish to import all slides inthe presentation, click Import All.If you wish to import selected slides,click Prev Slide or Next Slide todisplay a slide you wish to import,and then click Import. If this happens, the errormay disappear if the files areconverted on a computer whichhas PowerPoint 2000 installed.
