Care and ReplacementENGLISH - 45 MaintenanceJ Removing and replacing the lamp unit1. Use a Phillips screw driver to loosen the 3 lamp unit fixingscrews until the screws turn freely.2. Hold the handle of the lamp unit and release the lamp unit lock.3. Pull out the lamp unit gently from the projector.4. Replace the new lamp unit while making sure that the directionof insertion is correct.Press the top of the lamp unit and make sure the unit is installed securely.5. Tighten the lamp unit fixing screws securely with a Phillips screwdriver.J Attaching the top cover1. Attach the hinge parts of the top cover to the projector and press slightly until itclicks.When the projector is mounted in the ceiling, attaching the hinge parts is not required.2. Hook the top cover safety hook to the projector.3. Hooking the tabs of the top cover to the front of the projector and lift down slowly.4. Press the back corner of the top cover gently until it clicks.Make sure to hook the top cover safety hook to the body.J Resetting the LAMP RUNTIMEIf the lamp usage time has passed 2 000 hours (when LAMP POWER has been set to NORMAL), theprojector will switch to standby mode after approximately 10 minutes of operation. The resetting procedureshould thus be completed within 10 minutes.1. Connect the power cord to the projector and a walloutlet, and switch the MAIN POWER on.2. Switch the POWER button.3. Press the MENU button to display the menu.4. Press F G to select OPTION and press ENTER.5. Press F G to select LAMP RUNTIME.6. Press and hold the ENTER button forapproximately 3 seconds.7. The confirmation screen will be displayed andselect OK.8. Switch off the POWER button to reset the durationof the LAMP RUNTIME.9. Confirm the duration of time in LAMP RUNTIME isreset to "0".NOTE:• Be sure to install the lamp unit and the top cover of the projector securely. If they are notsecurely installed, it may cause the protection circuit to operate so that the power cannot beturned on.• Grip the handle and keep the lamp unit paralleled when you remove the lamp unit.
