Playback Mode-39-Index Search FunctionsTo facilitate searching for desired scenes, thisPalmcorder automatically records index signalsduring recording, as explained in the following.Photoshot Index SignalThese signals are automatically recorded whenstill pictures on a card are recorded to a tape.Scene Index SignalScene Index Signals are automatically recordedwhen you start recording after inserting aCassette.≥If [SCENE INDEX] of [RECORDING] Sub-Menuon the [TAPE RECORDING MENU] is set to[2HOUR], an index signal is recorded whenrecording is restarted after an elapse of 2 hoursor longer.
