Others-51-≥If a tape has a non-recorded portion when thetape is dubbed, images and sounds may bedisturbed when this portion of the tape is playedback.≥If you set the tape counter back to 0 at theposition where you want to stop Audio Dubbingso as to make it possible to use the MemoryStop Function (-57-), Audio Dubbing isterminated automatically when the tape reachesthis position.≥In the case of importing data recorded withAudio Dubbing to a PC using the PC’s software,only the original sound (ST1) may be imported,depending on the software.ª Using the DV Cable for Recording(Digital Dubbing)≥Regardless of the setting, digital dubbing iscarried out automatically in the same audiorecording mode as that of the playbackCassette.≥The images on the recorded monitor may bedisturbed, but it does not affect the recordedimages.≥Even if Playback Digital Effects or PlaybackZoom have been used, these effects are notoutput from the DV Terminal.≥Even if you use a device equipped with DVTerminals, you may not be able to performDigital Dubbing in some cases.≥Date or other information to be displayed cannotbe displayed if the software of the connectedequipment does not support the displayfunction.≥Disconnect the USB Cable (optional) sinceinput signals from external input terminal cannotbe recorded with connecting the USB Cable.Cautions for Useª After Use1 Take out the Cassette. (-14-, -17-)4 To protect the Lens, attach the suppliedLens Cap.ª Cautions for UseWhen you use your Camcorder on a rainy orsnowy day or on a beach, make sure that nowater enters the Camcorder.≥Water may cause the Camcorder or Cassette tomalfunction. (Irreparable failure may occur.)≥If sea water splashes onto the Camcorder, weta soft cloth with tap water, wring it well, and useit to wipe the camera body carefully. Then, wipeit again thoroughly with a soft dry cloth.Keep the Camcorder away from magnetizedequipment (such as a microwave oven, TV,video game equipment, etc.).≥If you use the Camcorder on or near a TV,images or sounds may be disturbed due toelectromagnetic wave radiation.≥Do not use near a cell phone because doing somay cause noise to adversely affect the pictureand sound.≥Recordings on the tape may be damaged, orimages may be distorted, by strong magneticfields created by speakers or large motors.≥Electromagnetic wave radiation generated by amicroprocessor may adversely affect theCamcorder, causing the disturbance of imagesand sounds.≥If the Camcorder is affected by magneticallycharged equipment and does not functionproperly, turn off the Camcorder power anddetach the Battery or AC Adaptor and thenconnect the Battery or AC Adaptor again.Thereafter, turn on the Camcorder power.Do not use your Camcorder near radiotransmitters or high-voltage cables.≥If you record pictures near radio transmitters orhigh-voltage cables, recorded images or soundsmay be adversely affected.Do not use this Camcorder for surveillancepurposes or other business use.≥If you use the Camcorder for a long period oftime, the internal temperature increases and,consequently, this may cause malfunction.≥This Camcorder is not intended for businessuse.
