58≥The MPEG4 moving pictures can berecorded in any mode, but movingpictures recorded in the [SUPER FINE],[FINE] or [NORMAL] mode may not beplayed on other Panasonic digital videocameras. The message [PUSH THERESET SWITCH] may be displayed onsome Panasonic digital video cameras insuch a case. This is not a fault of the SDMulti AV Device.≥The MPEG4 moving pictures recorded inthe [ECONOMY] mode may not beplayed, if it was a short recording (4seconds or shorter).≥The sounds recorded will be in monaural.≥The recorded data can be played back onWindows Media Player.≥If MPEG4 moving pictures recorded by theSD Multi AV Device are played back on apersonal computer, etc., a black belt mayappear at the top and bottom of thepictures.≥Playing back MPEG4 moving picturesrecorded in the [SUPER FINE] mode isnot guaranteed for digital devices otherthan this SD Multi AV Device.≥MPEG4 moving pictures of the [SUPERFINE] mode cannot be recorded in theMultiMediaCard.≥The capacities of the recording time forMPEG4 files are as follows:The times listed in the above table areapproximate.ª Playing Back Moving Pictures(MPEG4) (l 23)≥Files are numbered hexadecimally.≥The file format supported by this SD MultiAV Device is ASF. (Some ASF formattedfiles may not be played back.)≥When a moving picture is played back, amosaic may appear or some frames maybe missing; but this is normal.≥If there are 7 files or more on the indexpicture screen, each press of the left (orright) of the multi-function button makesthe previous (or next) page appear.≥Fast forward or fast backward will be resetto normal playback on the next file.≥In the index picture screen, the first framefor the pictures is displayed. (For example,if the first frame is painted in black as awhole, a black screen will be displayed.)≥MPEG4 files recorded by another deviceor another application may not be playedback.
