61ª Playing back still pictures one byone (P.Slide Show) (l 32)≥Playback time may take longer than usualdepending on the picture.≥If the P. Slide show data is not recorded onthe Memory Card, the display reverts tothe index picture screen.≥The time for the Slide show set by SD-MovieStage Ver.2.0 is not applied to theSD Multi AV Device.ª Formatting the Memory Card(l 33)≥Normally, it is not necessary to format theMemory Card.≥If the Memory Card performance becomesunstable (recording or playback fails, etc.),try to format it.≥If a message to prompt you to check theMemory Card comes up, it will benecessary to format it in order to use it onthe SD Multi AV Device.≥By formatting, all data stored in theMemory Card (e.g., still pictures, MPEG4moving pictures, voice data, music data)are erased.≥Format the Memory Card on the SD MultiAV Device or on the SD-Jukebox Ver.3.0(supplied). Otherwise, it maynot be recognized by the SD Multi AVDevice.≥If the write protection switch of the SDMemory Card is set to [LOCK], datacannot be erased.≥When the Memory Card is formatted, thefiles will be deleted, even if files arelocked.≥As formatting erases all the data, save thenecessary data on a personal computer,etc. beforehand.≥Format may take a little time. Wait until theCard Access Lamp goes out.ª Fitting on the AV Cradle (l 35)≥To fit the SD Multi AV Device on the AVCradle, turn the SD Multi AV Device[OFF].≥When the SD Multi AV Device isconnected to the AV Cradle, the SD MultiAV Device cannot record through-the-lensimages.≥When the AC adaptor is connected to thisSD Multi AV Device, the SD Multi AVDevice cannot be fitted on the AV Cradle.ª Playing Back on an externaldevice (l 36)≥When connecting, turn the power [OFF].≥To cause the display on the screen todisappear, set [DISPLAY] in the [DISPLAYSETUP] menu to [OFF].≥In the connection described in this item,the speaker or the stereo earphones ofthis Device cannot be used.≥To view pictures on the LCD monitor of theSD Multi AV Device fitted on the AVCradle, set the AV output control switch to[LCD MONITOR]. (The sound is alsoheard from the speaker of the SD Multi AVDevice.)≥If the SD Multi AV Device is connected toan external device, such as a TV and itoutputs video and audio to the device, thesound is not heard from the speaker ofthis Device even with [BEEP] in the menuset to [ON].≥Part of the characters may be clipped onthe screen, depending on the type of TV.
