From the Network Preferences screen, tap View Log from the Optionsmenu to display the Network Log screen.2. Tap the up and down arrows of the scroll bar to see the entire NetworkLog.3. When you have finished, tap Done.Adding a DNS NumberIf your ISP or dial-in server requires a DNS number and you did not enter thatinformation in the Network Preferences screen, it will appear that yousuccessfully logged into your network. However, when you try to use anapplication or look up information, the connection fails. If this occurs, tryadding a DNS number. Ask your ISP or your System Administrator for thecorrect Primary and Secondary DNS IP numbers.Recording Owner PreferencesUse the Owner Preferences screen to record a name, company name, phonenumber, or other information to identify your pdQ smartphone.If you turn off and lock the pdQ smartphone with a password, the informationyou put in the Owner Preferences appears the next time you turn on the pdQsmartphone. See “Chapter 15—Security” for more information.To enter the Owner Preferences:Enter text that identifies the owner of the pdQ smartphone.If you enter more text than will fit on one screen, a scroll bar automaticallyappears on the right side of the screen.If you assign a Password (with the Security application), the informationin the Owner Preferences screen “locks” and cannot be changed. In thatcase, an Unlock button appears at the bottom of the screen.
