Microsoft Excel is not includedwith the pdQ smartphone. The procedures in this section assume that youhave installed the Palm Desktop software. See “Installing Palm DesktopSoftware” in the pdQ Basics Handbook for more information.Printing an Expense ReportTo print your expense report:1. Perform a HotSync operation to transfer your latest Expense data to yourcomputer. See “Chapter 7—HotSync Technology” for details.2. On the computer, click Expense in the Palm Desktop to open MicrosoftExcel and the Expense Report configuration dialog.If you open Expense from the Start menu (instead of the Palm Desktop),you must first choose the pdQ smartphone user name.3. Click the expense category that you want to print.Shift+click to select multiple categories. To view the expenses for all ofyour Expense categories, click All in the Categories area.4. To define an end date for the report, enter the date in the End Date area.If you do not specify an end date, all expense entries for the selectedcategories will appear — up to the date of the last HotSync operation.Click to select Categories.
