Otherwise the paging will last for 2 minutes.Auto StandbyIf you place the handset in the cradle while the handset is off the hook(during a call), the call is automatically disconnected.Caller ID (CID)IMPORTANT: In order to use this unit’s Caller ID features, you must subscribeto either the standard Name/Number Caller ID Service or Call Waiting CallerID Service. To know who is calling while you are on the phone, you mustsubscribe to Call Waiting Caller ID Service.When the unit receives an incoming call with CID information, the CID canbe shown on the base and handsets.Caller IDReceiving and Storing CID RecordsThis unit receives and displays information transmitted by your local phonecompany. This information can include the phone number, date and time;or the name, phone number, date and time. The unit can store up to 99records for later review. When the memory is full, a new call automaticallyreplaces the oldest call in memory. “NEW” appears in the display for callsreceived that have not been reviewed. The line number for the call receivedis also displayed.If two incoming calls come in at the same time, both L1 and L2 phonenumbers shows on the display while ringing.
