17Chapter 4Chapter 4: Basic OperationPlug the end of the power cord into the back of the TV. Plug the other end into a grounded wall outlet.Insert the plug completely into the outlet. Do not plug into an outlet controlled by a light switch.Plug in the TVTurn on your TV by pressing the Power button on the front of the TV or ON-OFF on the remote control.Turn on the TVThis function automatically finds all channels available through the Antenna or Cable and stores them inmemory on the channel list.Channel Scans can only be performed using a Master remote.Channel ScanYou can select a channel number with the CH + / CH - button or NUMBER buttons.Channel SelectionPress the VOL+ / VOL- button to adjust the sound level.Volume AdjustmentPress the MUTE button. The sound is switched off and the mute Icon appears.To cancel mute mode, press the MUTE or VOL+ / VOL- button again.Sound Mute
