Which menu items are available will depend on therestrictions set by the master user and the active input. For instance, ifBasic Menu Access has been set to Disabled in the Access and PowerOptions menu, the basic menus and many features will not be available.Also, except for some Parental Controls settings, many of the changesmade in the basic menu will revert back to their master menu settingsthe next time the TV is turned on. Many of the basic menu items functionexactly the same as their master menu counterparts. (See Chapter 1 formore details on the master menus.)Sound MenuGo Back Takes you to the previous menu.Sound Type Choose Stereo, Enhanced, SAP or Mono. If you connectto VID1 or the front jacks, choose from Stereo or Left. Stereo splitsthe incoming stereo audio signal into left and right channels. Most TVprograms and recorded materials have stereo audio. Stereo or Monois displayed in the Channel banner when chosen. SAP (Second AudioProgram) plays the program's audio in a second language, if one isavailable. This selection is displayed in the Channel banner whenchosen.Picture MenuThe basic Picture menu items allow you to adjust the appearance ofon-screen images.Go Back Takes you to the previous menu.Picture Preset Choose between Soft, Natural, Bright or Personal. Thedefault setting is Natural.Channel Guide MenuThe basic Channel Guide menu is the same as the master Channel Guidemenu.
