Shows the amount oftime left before the TV switches back to the previouschannel.07:18 am Displays the current time.06 ABCDEF Displays the current channel and label assigned to thechannel.Displayed when you mute the sound.SAPStereo06 ABCDEFKidPass: 2:24Skip: 0:30CC07:18amXXParental Controls and V-ChipThe choices in the USA V-CHIP menu involve software inside your TV (referred to as V-Chip) which allows you to block TVprograms and movies based on violence, sex, or other content you may believe children should not view.Once you block programs, you can unblock programs by entering a password.By default, the software inside your TV is turned “off.”How V-Chip WorksV-Chip reads the program’s age-based rating (TV-MA, TV-14, etc.) and content themes [(Violence (V), Adult Language (L),etc.)]. If you have blocked the rating and/or content themes that the program contains, you will receive the message, "Thischannel has not been approved for viewing". Change channel or press OK to enter password and temporarily deactivate theParental Control.Broadcasters are not required to provide content themes, so programs received with no content themes will only beblocked if you block their age-based rating. You can also block out programs that have been given a rating of Not Rated,and programs that are considered unrated.
