Injection Flow Rates vs Return Water Temperatures3.9.6. Applications and Modes - Primary/Secondary PipingThe VERSA IC Control system is designed for a wide rangeof applications. The installer/design engineer should referto the following Modes to determine which best fits theintended application and functionality for the unit beinginstalled. Type H models of XTherm have three modesavailable to them to address the various applications theunits can be applied to. Type WH units will only have theWH configuration available to them for use with potablewater applications when directly connected to a hot waterstorage tank. Type P units will only have the P configurationavailable. For detailed information on the VERSA IC controlsystem, see the VERSA IC manual (5000.72). This manualcan be found in the document library at www.raypak.com.Mode 1 (Type H Units Only)This mode selection is for hydronic heating systems withsingle or multiple heaters (Maximum 4 heaters) in primary/secondary piping configuration with or without OutdoorAir Reset (S4).
