Never vent to another room orinside a building. Make sure that the vent isproperly sized and is of adequate height toprovide the proper draft.8) Inspect the venting system annually forblockage and any signs of deterioration.9) Any safety glass removed for servicingmust be replaced prior to operating theappliance.10) To prevent injury, do not allow anyone whois unfamiliar with the operation to use thefireplace.11) Due to high temperatures, the applianceshould be located out of high traffic areasand away from furniture and draperies.Children and adults should be alerted to thehazards of high surface temperatures,especially the fireplace glass and gold trims,and should stay away to avoid burns orclothing ignition.
