41© 2017 SafeLine and all the SafeLine products and accessories are copyrighted by law.SL6+ v2.04 ENService*, **, *** Refer to chapter ”Related test procedures”TROUBLESHOOTING BUS UNITPROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE(S) SOLUTIONThe unit can not make an alarmcall.• At least one phone numberand/or one ID code if usingdata identifi cation must beprogrammed to make a callfrom the unit.• Refer to the parameter *11*.• Button not connected.• No bus unit connected.• Check wiring.• At least one bus unit mustbe connected in order tomake an alarm call.No voice switching. • If the main unit is installedon the car roof, the problemmight be due to induction inthe phone cable.• Place the bus cable in anenvironment with littleexternal interference(***).Do a microphone test(***).The pictogram LEDsare fl ashing quickly andsimultaneously.• The address switch is set toan invalid number (0, 7, 8, 9).Valid numbers are 1-6.• The address switch settinghas been changed duringoperation.• Change the address switchto a valid number.The pictogram LEDsare fl ashing alternately.Bus communication errorcaused by any of the followingreasons .• Two or more units have theaddress switch set to thesame number.• Bus cable broken.• Incorrect wiring of the buscable.• Ensure that the addressswitches of the units are setto different numbers.• Ensure that the bus cable isnot broken.• Check the bus cableinstallation.The telephone beeps every 5seconds.This is to notify the passengersof the ongoing call (anti eavesdropping).This is a normal procedure. |
