38123DEN SL6+ v.3.04OperatingThe SL6+ system can be used as a firefighter intercom system.Depending on the confi guration, you can have up to 6 voiceunits as fi re units.Fire mode is started by activating an input on the main unit.Refer to the "Wiring Diagram SL6+ Main Unit" (page 12).ConfigurationUse SafeLine Pro or parameter *73* (please refer to the corre-sponding code in the ”Parameter List”) to confi gure the unitsfor Fire mode.• Set Input 1 to Fire mode: *73*14#.• Set Input 2 to Fire mode: *73*24# - default.• Select other voice units to be included in Fire mode with SLPro.OperationActivating Fire mode does the following:A siren sound is heard in the speaker of the main unit during theactive time.Press the reset button to stop the siren sound.A voice message specifi cally for Fire mode is played. Refer tothe ”Distress message”-section of the ”Parameter List” table.When Fire mode is activated the units operate as intercomunits only and can not make emergency calls.Voice communication• Voice station in the car: microphone and speaker are bothactive.• Other units: the alarm button has the “Push to talk/Release tolisten”-function.• A short beep is heard when you press/release the button.• When in Fire mode, you can use the confi guration handset toparticipate in an intercom conversation• The yellow pictogram lights up when Fire mode is activated.• The green pictogram lights up when in speech mode and is outwhen listening.• End Fire mode by disabling the input (1 or 2) on the main unitconfigured for Fire mode.Fire ModeINPUT 2 (confi gurable)INPUT 1 (confi gurable)+12 VDC |
