English - 26Locking ChannelsThis feature allows you to prevent unauthorized users, such as children, from watching unsuitableprogrammes by muting out video and audio. Child Lock cannot be released using the buttons onthe side. Only the remote control can release the Child Lock setting, so keep the remote controlaway from children. Locking channels1 Press the MENU button to display the menu.2 Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Setup, then press theENTER button.3 Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Child Lock, then pressthe ENTER button.Enter your 4 digit PIN number.¯ The default PIN number of a new TV set is “0-0-0-0”.¯ If you want to change PIN number, refer to page 37.4 Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select On, then press theENTER button.5 Press the ◄ button to select Channel, then press theENTER button.6 Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Channel List, thenpress the ENTER button.7 Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select a channel to be locked,then press the TOOLS button.¯ The symbol will be displayed and the channel will belocked.
