5958Message ServicesYour Samsung Phone can receive short messages.The phonecan receive four kinds of messages: voicemail notification(VMN), text, numeric pages, and Web Browser messages.Incoming MessagesYour phone receives incoming messages in both Standby andConversation modes.When your phone receives a message, an alert sounds, andthe screen displays (“New Voice”,“New Text”,“New Page” or“BrowserMsg”) and the name / phone number of the caller ifavailable.The message indicator ( ) remains on thescreen until you listen to the new voicemail message, or readthe new text, numeric page, or Web Browser message.Note: If you are on a conversation, and you receive an incom-ing message, your phone automatically mutes the ringer (thisis to avoid ringing in your ear while you are trying to con-verse).Incoming Message Memory CapacityYour Samsung Phone can store up to 100 incoming mes-sages, depending on the length of the messages.When mes-sage memory reaches 75% capacity, the screen displays“Memory is 75% full. Erase old messages.”At 100% capacity,the screen displays a text notification and rejects additionalincoming messages until you erase the stored messages.Erasing Voice Dialing EntriesTo erase an individual voice dialing entry:1. Press to display the Main Menu.2. Press for Voice Dial.3. Press for Review.A list of entries displays.4. Press the digit key to select the desired entry, or press thescroll keys to scan entries.The recorded names play audi-bly as you scroll through the list.5. When the desired entry displays, press to erase thatentry.To erase all Voice Dialing entries:1. Press to display the Main Menu.2. Press for Voice Dial.3. Press for Erase All.4.
