9998The Web Browser(WAP)The Web Browser allows you to access certain informationsuch as stock quotes and weather via the Internet. Browsingthe web via the phone is not like using your home comput-er. Site providers have selected only the critical aspects oftheir site to present to wireless phone users, and haveremoved most graphics.Each time you start the Web Browser, the phone will connectto your browser service, and the service indicator icon ( )will appear on the display.Any time the service indicatoricon is visible on the display, your phone is connected to thenetwork and you will be billed accordingly. Rates will varyaccording to your billing plan.The Web Browser will end the connection after a certainperiod of network inactivity and will automatically re-con-nect as necessary. This is normal and is designed to minimizeyour bill.To Setup the Web Browser PromptsYour phone can be set so that you view a prompt each timeyou start or end a Web Browser session.You have the optionto change when these start and end prompts appear.
