3.21Stand-alone FaxOne-Touch DiallingOne-Touch dialling lets you use any of the 20 one-touch buttons toautomatically dial a number.Storing a Number for One-Touch Dialling1. Press and hold one of ten one-touch buttons for about 2 seconds. Thedisplay shows `Txx:’, where `xx’ represents the selected one-touchbutton number.If a number has already been stored in the location you chose, thedisplay shows the number. To edit the number, see the next page.If you press and hold the button used for group dial number, thedisplay shows ‘GROUP ASSIGNED’, then asks you to press anotherone-touch button.2. Enter the number you want to store by using the number keypad,then press Start/Enter.To insert a pause between numbers, press Redial/Pause; a ‘P’appears on the display.If you make a mistake while entering a number, pressSearch/Delete and re-enter the correct number.Editing NameIf you make a mistake while entering a number or name, move thecursor under the incorrect digit by ➛or ❿. Then, press the correctnumber to change, or press Search/Delete to delete the number.Inserting a Pause While Entering a NumberSome telephone systems require an access code (9, for example) andlisten for a second dial tone before dialling an outside number. In suchcases, you must insert a pause in the number when setting up a one-touch or a speed dial number.To insert a pause, press Redial/Pause while entering the number.When you dial a number, the dialling process pauses for a specified timeat the point where you pressed Redial/Pause.For a longer pause, press Redial/Pause twice.Txx:_
