C h a p t e r F i v eT HE ANSWERING MACHINECHAPTER FIVE : THE ANSWERING MACHINE 5.11When the call monitoringoption is on and anincoming message isbeing recorded, you hearthe caller’s voice throughthe speaker.2If you want to speak tothe caller, lift thehandset.The display shows thetime when the messagewas recorded.In this chapter, you will learn how to check your TAD greeting message, monitorincoming calls, play and erase messages, and access your machine from a remotetelephone.Note: the SF3000T uses electronic momory as a recording medium.Recording time is depending on the content of the message, the total recording time(TAD OGM + AUTO OGM + ICM) is about 12 minutes.Checking Your TAD Greeting MessageFor information about how to record your first TAD greeting message, see page 2.19.Monitoring an Incoming Call1Press OGM.Play Erase OGM√ If you have not yet recorded a TADgreeting message, an error appears inthe display. You must record a TADgreeting message before you can set themachine to TAD mode.To change a previously recordedgreeting message, simply record a newone. Your machine automaticallyrecords the new message over the oldone.
