Tap Power saving on at to assign the “battery low” level atwhich the power saving mode is activated (10% batterypower, 30%, 50% or 70%).To adjust additional power saving settings:1. Activate power saving mode (see above).2. Tap any of the available fields to adjust additional powersaving parameters. The following options are available:• Turn off Wi-Fi to disable Wi-Fi when not in use or activelytransmitting data.• Turn off Bluetooth to disable Bluetooth when not in use oractively transmitting data.• Turn off GPS to disable the GPS location system when not in use.• Turn off Sync to disable the feature when the phone is notsynchronizing with the server.• Brightness: allows you to manually adjust the brightness of thescreen. Enable this option to activate the next Brightness option.• Brightness: sets the Brightness level of the screen.• Screen timeout to adjust the time delay before the screen turnsoff when inactive.• Power saving tips display additional information on the powersaving features.Location and SecurityThe Location and Security settings allow you to set up how thephone will determine your location and the security settings foryour phone.Use Wireless NetworksBefore you use applications such as Google Maps to finddirections or search for places of interest, you must enable the useof wireless networks and/or GPS satellites to determine yourposition.1. From the Home screen, tap Settings Locationand security.2. Tap Use wireless networks to enable location informationusing the wireless network.Use GPS satellitesThis option allows you to locate locations accurately to street level.To conserve power, deselect this option when not in use.1.
