Press <Yes> to receive data.Security (Menu 8.8)Use this menu to protect the phone againstunauthorised use by managing the severalaccess codes of your phone and SIM card.PIN check (Menu 8.8.1)The 4- to 8-digit PIN (Personal IdentificationNumber) protects your SIM card againstunauthorised use. When this feature is enabled,the phone requires your PIN each time it isswitched on.Change PIN code (Menu 8.8.2)Use this menu to change your PIN. The PINcheck feature must be enabled to change thePIN.Phone lock (Menu 8.8.3)Use this menu to lock the phone fromunauthorised use.When this feature is enabled, you must enter a4- to 8-digit phone password each time thephone is switched on.The password is preset to 00000000. Tochange the password, use the Changepassword menu.Change password (Menu 8.8.4)Use this menu to change your phone password.If you enter an incorrect PIN/PIN2 three times,the SIM card is blocked. To unblock it, you needto enter your PUK/PUK2 (Personal UnblockingKey). The codes are supplied by your serviceprovider. |
