Phone Settings94Display Settings (Menu 5.6)Contrast (Menu 5.6.1)This menu option allows you to adjust the contrastof the display screens to see them better indifferent light conditions.Adjust the contrast by using the and keysor the volume keys on the left side of the phone.When you are satisfied, press the OK soft key tosave the selection.Back Light (Menu 5.6.2)You can select whether or not the phone uses thebacklight. A marginal increase in standby/talk timecan be achieved by turning the backlight off.Select the length of time the backlight is on. Thebacklight turns on when you press a key or receivea call or message and turns off after the specifiedlength of time.If you do not want to use the backlight, select Off.Auto Light (Menu 5.6.3)Using this feature, you can specify the time forwhich the backlight is to be used. This feature helpsconserve your battery power.The following options are available:Disable: the backlight is used according to thesetting in the Back Light menu option(Menu 5.6.2); see page 94.Phone Settings95Enable: the backlight is used only during thespecified period of time. Enter the time when thephone turns the light on and then turn it off, usingthe appropriate number keys.Service Light (Menu 5.6.4)This menu option allows you to select whether ornot the service light on the folder is used or inwhich colour it flashes.Select one from various colour settings. When thephone is ready for use, the service light flashes inthe appropriate colour.If you do not wish to use the service light,select Off.Graphic Logo (Menu 5.6.5)This menu option allows you to display youroperator’s logo instead of its name.Off: the operator name displays in Idle Mode.On: the operator logo stored in your phone displaysin Idle Mode. When no logo has been stored, theoperator name displays.
