69 Applications SettingsSettingsApplications SettingsManage settings for applicationson your tablet.Application ManagerYou can download and install new applicationson your device. Use Application manager settingsto manage your downloaded and preloadedapplications.Warning: Because this device can be configuredwith system software not provided by or supportedby Google or any other company, you operate thissoftware at your own risk.Memory UsageSee how memory is being used by Downloaded orRunning applications.1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >Settings > Applications >Application manager.2. Swipe across the screen to displayDOWNLOADED, SD CARD, RUNNING, or ALLto display memory usage for that category ofapplications. If you have disabled applications, aDISABLED tab also displays.The graph on the RUNNING tab shows used andfree RAM.DownloadedDisplays apps you have downloaded onto yourdevice.1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >Settings > Applications >Application manager.2. Tap DOWNLOADED to view a list of all thedownloaded applications on your device.3. To switch the order of the DOWNLOADED list,tap MORE > Sort by size or Sort by name.4. To reset all of your application preferences, tapMORE > Reset app preferences.5. Tap an application to view and updateinformation about the application, includingmemory usage, default settings, and permissions.The following options are displayed:• FORCE STOP: Stop an app that ismisbehaving. Restart your device if stoppingan app, process, or service causes yourdevice to stop working correctly.• UNINSTALL or UNINSTALL UPDATES: Deletethe application from the device or uninstallupdates made to apps that cannot be deleted.• DISABLE: Disable apps that cannot bedeleted.• Show notifications: Tap the checkbox toenable or disable notifications from the app.Notifications display in the Status bar.• MOVE TO SD CARD: Move this app to yourmicroSD card.• CLEAR DATA: Clear application data frommemory.• CLEAR CACHE: Clear an application’stemporary memory storage.• CLEAR DEFAULTS: Clear an application’scustomization.• Permissions: View information about theapplication’s access to your device and data.
