85 Language and Input SettingsSettingsGoogle Voice Typing SettingsSpeak rather than type your text entries usingGoogle Voice Typing.1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >Settings.2. Tap Language and input.3. Tap Google voice typing for options:• Language: Select languages for Google voicetyping.• “Ok Google” Detection: Tap to launch aGoogle search whenever you say “Ok Google”.• Hands-free: Allow requests with the devicelocked.• Speech output: Select options for spokenfeedback.• Offline speech recognition: Download andinstall speech recognition engines, allowingyou to use voice input while not connected tothe network.• Block offensive words: Hide words manypeople find offensive are in results of Googlevoice searches. Offensive words are replacedin results with a placeholder (####).• Bluetooth headset: Use audio input from aBluetooth headset, if one is connected.Voice InputUse Google voice recognition to perform Googlesearches using spoken commands.To perform a voice search, tap in the Googlesearch bar or widget.
