RECORDING CONDITIONS SET SETTINGThis lets you make settings and set overwriting permissions for each recording area when multiple digital video recorders (up to amaximum of three) are connected for series recording.Recording settings for digital seriesconnection (maximum 3 units)1 Connect the digital video recorders using the digital inputand output terminals of each digital video recorder.(See page 8.)Note: Use a straight-type Ethernet cable to connect the digital videorecorders. Each cable should not be any longer than 3 meters.2 Press the MENU button to select RECORDING CONDITIONSSET, and then turn the shuttle dial clockwise.The RECORDING CONDITIONS SET sub-menu appears, andthe cursor moves DIGITAL SERIES RECORDING.3 Turn the shuttle dial clockwise.“OFF” flashes.4 Use the jog dial to change the setting to “ON”, and then turnthe shuttle dial clockwise.The cursor moves to TOTAL NUMBER.5 Turn the shuttle dial clockwise, use the jog dial to set thetotal number of digital video recorders connected (example:3), and then turn the shuttle dial clockwise.The cursor moves to RECORDING NUMBER.6 Turn the shuttle dial clockwise, use the jog dial to set theconnection number (example: 1), and then turn the shuttledial clockwise.The cursor moves to OVERWRITE.Note:• The digital video recorder which is used as the main unit shouldalways have its connection number set to 1.• Do not skip or overlap numbers when making the settings.• If NETWORK CONTROL in the NETWORK SET menu has beenset to “ON”, DIGITAL SERIES RECORDING cannot be selected.Conversely, if DIGITAL SERIES RECORDING has been set to“ON”, NETWORK CONTROL cannot be set to “ON”.Sub-menus CONDITIONS SET>DIGITAL SERIES RECORDING : OFFTOTAL NUMBER : **RECORDING NUMBER : **NORMAL RECORDING AREAOVERWRITE : ONALARM RECORDING AREAOVERWRITE : ONREMAINING DISK WARNING : **Main menu 1 MENU 1>1.LANGUAGE/CLOCK SET ->2.VIDEO INPUT SET ->3.RECORDING AREA SET ->4.RECORDING CONDITIONS SET ->5.NORMAL REC MODE SET ->6.TIMER SET ->7.HOLIDAY SET ->8.ALARM REC MODE SET ->TO MAIN MENU 2 ->MOVE LINES WITH JOG.
