SECURITY LOCK SET SETTINGC Recording and playback operating privilegesettingSelection of operating privilegeThe available operations vary depending on the ON/OFF andADMIN/USER settings.SelectionconditionsDetails of operationAll operations are locked. When the userpassword is entered at the password entryscreen, only playback operations can becarried out. When the Administrator passwordis entered, all operations can be carried out.All operations are locked. When the Administratorpassword is entered, all operations can becarried out.Recording and menu operations are locked.Playback operations are not locked. When theAdministrator password is entered at thepassword entry screen, all operations can becarried out.Security lock is not engaged (default setting).Security lock is not engaged (default setting).1 Use the jog dial to move the cursor to REC CONTROL.2 Turn the shuttle dial clockwise, and then use the jog dial toselect “ADMIN” or “USER”.This completes the setting.3 Press the EXIT/OSD button.The display returns to the normal screen.D Security lock setting1 At the normal monitoring screen, press and hold theSUHTTLE HOLD button for approximately 3 seconds.The LOCK indicator at the front panel illuminates and the buzzersounds.
