When an alarm istriggered, the display switches to “ALARM”.Note:• Pre-alarm recording continues for the length of time specified bythe DURATION setting before an alarm signal is input. Whenplaying back images that have been recorded during pre-alarmrecording, use the alarm search (SEARCH FRAME/FIELD button)operations. Images will be played back from the point that thealarm occurred, so use the shuttle operations to carry out rewindplayback.• If pre-alarm recording is being carried out in FIELD (recording rate)mode, the cycle speed for the recording cycle settings will becomeslower, and the 0.02 second and 0.03 second settings cannot beselected.• If carrying out normal alarm recording and pre-alarm recording atthe same time, no audio signals will be recorded with the pre-alarmrecording images.• If using the digital video recorder together with a multiplexer, theswitching signal from the multiplexer will be output in accordancewith the digital video recorder’s recording timing for normalrecording if pre-alarm recording and normal recording are beingcarried out at the same time. Because of this, if the recording cyclefor pre-alarm recording is shorter than the recording cycle settingfor normal recording, pre-alarm recording images from one cameramay be continuously recorded. On the other hand, if the recordingcycle for pre-alarm recording is longer than the recording cyclesetting for normal recording, camera images may not be recordedat all during normal recording, so this setting should not be made.
