58SettingClosed Caption is a function that displays the audio portionof a TV program as text on the screen. If the input signalcontains Closed captions, you can turn on the feature andswitch the channels. Press the Point ed buttons to selectOff, CC1, CC2, CC3 or CC.If the Closed caption is not clear, you can change the textfrom Color to White.Closed caption4Note:The Closed caption is available only under the situationbelow.• The input signal is NTSC of composite video or S-video.• The item of Closed caption is displayed in gray while itis not available.• The Closed caption is unavailable when On-ScreenMenu or P-Timer is displayed.Press the Point ed buttons toselect Off, CC1, CC2, CC3 or CC,and then Press Select button.Remote controlThis projector provides two different remote control codes:the factory-set initial code (Code 1) and the secondary code(Code 2). This switching function prevents remote controlinterference when operating several projectors or videoequipment at the same time.When operating the projector in Code 2, both the projectorand the remote control must be switched to Code 2.To change the code for the projector:Select either Code 1 or Code 2 in this Setting Menu.To change the code for the remote control:Press and hold both the MENU and IMAGE buttonstogether for 5 seconds or more. After changing the code,make sure the remote control operates properly.4Note:• When different codes are set on the projector and onthe remote control, any operation cannot be made. Inthat case, switch the code on the remote control to fitthe code on the projector.• If the batteries are removed from the remote control fora long period of time, the remote control code will bereset.This function allows you to change brightness of the screen.Normal ......
