57Maintenance and CareCheck the number of lamp to be replaced on the LampStatus Display.Remove the two screws on the Lamp Cover and pressthe button to open the Lamp Cover. (See the right figure.)13Loosen two screws and pull out the Lamp to be replacedby grasping handle.4Turn off the projector and unplug the AC Power Cord. Letthe projector cool for at least 45 minutes.2Replace the Lamp with a new one and tighten twoscrews. Make sure the Lamp is set properly.6Follow these steps to replace the lamp.Put the Lamp Cover back and tighten two screws.578Connect the AC Power Cord to the projector and turn onthe projector.Reset the Lamp Replacement Counter. The glass can shatter and may cause injury.Allow a projector to cool, for at least 45 minutesbefore you open Lamp Cover. The inside of aprojector can become very hot.CAUTIONTURN OFF THE UV LAMP BEFOREOPENING THE LAMP COVER.WARNING:When the projection lamp of the projector reaches its end of life, the Lamp replacement icon appears on thescreen and LAMP REPLACE indicator lights orange. Replace the lamp with a new one promptly.
