If they have been suppressed, the key-press willbe silent.'Call' takes your radio into the Selcall mode in order to make calls to otherusers. A short press invokes the dialling mode. A long press accesses amemory location which may contain the identity (call number) of another user(or group of users) and will initiate a call to them. The "TX" indicator appearsin the display briefly and your radio will sound a short beep as the call istransmitted.'Status' is also associated with Selcall and gives you access to a number ofactivity choices from which you can select one to indicate your own presentstatus.
