If the radio receiving your message hasbeen programmed with the same status messages, itwill decode and display your message. If you receivea status message, the message is automaticallyqueued, since a response is not expected.Selecting a status message1 Press Menu and select Send > Status.2 In the Status menu, scroll through the list of statusmessages until the message you want appears.Sending a status message1 When you have chosen a message, press Sendand the Send to menu opens.2 In the Send to menu, scroll through the list ofoptions until the choice you want appears.If your radio has alphanumeric keys, you canchoose the option Dialed, then dial the numberof the party you wish to call.If you select Address book or Preset, scroll tothe entry you want and press Select.3 Press Select.The call details appear on the display.
