P25 services 107If the other radio has received your request, it willnow call you, so that you can monitor activity nearthe radio.If an acknowledgement is not received from therecipient’s radio, you will have the option of eithercanceling or resending the request.Radio inhibit and uninhibitWarning When your radio is immobilized (‘inhibited’),your encryption keys may be automatically deletedfrom your radio.This feature is only available for digital channelsoperating in conventional mode, and for radiosconfigured for dispatcher operation.If you want to make another radio on the systeminoperable, you can use the radio inhibit feature. Thisfeature is also known as ‘stun’.To the user of the inhibited radio, it appears as thoughthe radio has turned off. The radio remains inoperableeven if it is turned off and then on again.The radio cannot return to operation until it receivesan uninhibit request.
