Use the DATA wheel to select LAST TRACK or ALLTRACK and press the F1 key.The selected tracks are deleted.Press F2 key to cancel the operation.Browsing an SD cardYou can see folders and audio files on an SD card andselect a folder to playback on the BROWSE screen.To open to the BROWSE screenChange the source to SD and insert an SD card beforestarting the operations below.1. Press the MENU key to open the MENU screen.2. Press the CURSOR [§/¶] key to select MEDIA andpress the ENTER key.3. Press the CURSOR [§/¶] key to select BROWSE andpress the ENTER key.The contents of the folder that contains the file that wasselected on the Home screen before the BROWSE screenwas opened appears on the display.NOTEThe maximum sum total of files and folders on an SD card the•unit can recognize is 999. A folder can contain up to 99 fileswithin the limit.The file order listed on the BROWSE screen is different from the•actual playback order. Open the EDIT screen to check the play-back order ( ∑ page 46 “Editing a file”).You can change the playback order of files using the MOVE func-•tion ( ∑ page 46 “Editing a file”).Screen navigationOn the BROWSE screen, folders and music files appear ina hierarchical structure much like they would appear on acomputer. On the BB-1000CD, folders can only be used totwo levels.Press the• CURSOR [§/¶] key to select files and folders.When a folder is selected, press the• CURSOR [¥] key toshow the contents of that folder.When a file or folder is selected, press the• CURSOR [˙]key to exit the currently open folder and go to a higherlevel in the folder structure.Icons on the BROWSE screenThe meanings of icons that appear on the BROWSE screenare as follows.ROOT folderThe ROOT Folder is the highest (root) level folder in thehierarchy shown on the BROWSE screen.Audio fileThis icon appears before the names of music files.Plus folderThis icon shows folders that contain subfolders.Plain folderThis icon shows folders that do not contain subfolders.Open folderThe contents of the folder marked with this icon currentlyappear on this screen.File operationsSelect the desired audio file on the BROWSE screen andpress the ENTER key to open the pop-up window that isshown below.Press the CURSOR [§/¶] key to select the item you wantfrom the list to the right and press the ENTER key to ex-ecute it.PLAYReturn to the Home screen and playback the selected file.
