TASCAM CD-A550/CD-A750 41TAPE EDIT keyYou can also select the TAPE EDIT menu item to enterTAPE EDIT mode.2 Use the –/+ keys on the main unit or the remote con-trol to select the length (in minutes) of the tape beingused.Options: 30 (default), 46, 54, 60, 80, 90, 120CAUTIONYou can select “120” (for a 120-minute tape) when usingthe TAPE EDIT function, but use of tapes longer than 90minutes with this unit is not recommended. (See “Types ofcassette tapes that are not recommended for use with thisunit” on page 10.)3 Press the ENTER key on the main unit or the remotecontrol.If a program has not already been set, this unitautomatically creates a program to fit the length of thetape.If a program has already been set, “OVERWRITE?”appears in the main area of the display.Press the ENTER key again to discard the currentprogram and automatically create a program to fitthe length of the tape.Recording from the middle of a tape1 Set the tape at the position from where you want tostart recording.2 Press the RECORD key on the main unit or theremote control to make the unit record ready.
