IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS1 TASCAM CD-VT2Quick Start Guide—Basic OperationAdjusting the volumeUse the PHONES VOLUME (+, –) keys to adjust the head-phones volume.Changing playback tempoPress the TEMPO key to open the TEMPO CHANGE screen.With the TEMPO value selected as shown below, use theVALUE (+, –) keys to change the tempo value.NOTEWhen the product is shipped new, the VSA function isON, allowing tempo to be changed without changing thepitch. To change the pitch along with the tempo, use the CURSOR key on the TEMPO CHANGE screen to selectthe FIX PITCH item, and then use the – VALUE key toselect VSA OFF.Playing and singing alongConnecting a micConnect a mic or contact mic attached to an instrument to theMIC IN 1 jack on the front of the unit. Before connecting, turnthe INPUT dial next to the jack down to 0. Turn the volume upafter connecting.MicContact mic attachedto an instrument
