1 TASCAM CD-VT2IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONSAbout PowerTASCAMPS-P520sold separately)AC outletDC PLUGWhen using the AC adapter, “ ” appears in the upper right ofthe display.NOTEUnplug the AC adapter when not using the unit.Turning the power ON and OFFPress and hold the POWER switch on the rear of the unit forabout one second to turn its power ON. Release the buttonwhen the screen below appears on the display.Startup completes in a few seconds and the TIME DISPLAYscreen appears.To turn the power OFF, press and hold the POWER switchon the rear of the unit for more than one second. Release thebutton when the screen below appears on the display.NOTEAlways use the POWER switch to turn the power ON andOFF. When the unit is operating, if you disconnect thepower adapter or remove the batteries to turn the powerOFF, your settings may not be saved. All the settingsmight even be initialized, reverting them to their defaultvalues.When using this player with batteries, the power turnsOFF temporarily if you remove or connect the AC adapter.
