(Defaultposition: OFF)When the Auto Cue function is on, A_CUE is lit onthe display.Even when the power is turned off, the Auto Cue set-ting is maintained.Setting the sound start position detectionlevelUse the “A_CUE LEVEL?” option on the PLAY sub-menu of the MD menu or CD menu to set the soundstart position detection level. Settings can be madeindependently for each deck. The level can be setbetween –72 dB and –30 dB in 6 dB increments.NOTEWhen the Auto Cue point is being searched, the >arrow flashes in the display, and audio output is muted.Auto ReadyWhen the Auto Ready function is on, after each trackis played, playback standby mode is entered at thestart of the next track. Even when the Skip function isused to skip tracks, playback standby mode isentered at the start of the selected track.NOTEWhen the Auto Cue function is also on, playbackstandby mode is entered at the start of the sound onthe selected track, and not the beginning of that track.Turning the Auto Ready function on and offPress the AUTO READY key on the remote controlto turn the function on and off.You can also use the “A_READY?” option on thePLAY sub-menu of the MD menu or CD menu toturn the Auto Ready function on and off for eachdeck. (Default position: OFF)When the Auto Ready function is on, A.READY is liton the display.Even when the power is turned off, the Auto Readysetting is maintained.Repeat playbackPress the REPEAT key on the remote control to turnon the Repeat mode. In this mode, all the tracks onthe disc are played continuously. During playback, ifthe Repeat mode is turned on, playback continues asbefore, and when the last track finishes, playbackresumes from the first track. If Repeat mode is turnedon when the deck is stopped, press the PLAY key tobegin operation.You can also use the “REPEAT?” option in the PLAYsub-menu of the MD and CD menus to turn theRepeat mode on and off for each deck.Combining the Repeat mode with the Program, Sin-gle-track playback and Random playback functionswill enable Program Repeat, Single-track Repeat andRandom Repeat operations, respectively.A to B repeat playbackIf a specific portion between two points on the disc isspecified, that portion can be played back repeatedly.1 During playback, press the A-B REPEATkey on the remote control at the beginning ofthe desired portion on the disc.“A-” flashes on the display.2 At the end of the desired portion on the disc,press the A-B REPEAT key on the remotecontrol again.“REPEAT” and “A-B” are lit up on the dis-play, and the desired A-B section will beplayed repeatedly.To cancel A-B Repeat mode and resume nor-mal playbackPress the A-B REPEAT key once more.In Random and Program modes, A-B Repeat cannotfunction when the specified A-B section spans morethan one track.When the STOP key is pressed, the specified A-Bsection is cancelled.
