Software Overview3.9 Automation ModesThe four automation mode keys (WRITE, UPDATE, READ and MANUAL) onthe TM-D4000 are used in conjunction with the software to provide accessto the automation modes described on the next page.Automation modes can be selected for allchannels by pressing the desired mode keythen pressing ALL. Automation modes canalso be selected on a per channel basis bypressing a mode key then pressing ENTER toconfirm your selection. The indicator for theselected mode key will blink and individualchannels can then be assigned to thatmode with their SEL key. When a modeindicator is blinking, another mode key canbe selected at any time. It is possible tohave some channels assigned to one modewhile other channels are assigned to adifferent mode.
