Pull outconnector J5 from the TCON and with avoltmeter set to resistance verify that pins3 and 4 on the harness connectormeasure between 55 and 65 Ohms andthat neither pin has a short to power orground. Check wiring and boom cable foropen or short circuits if resistance checkfails.13 Jib Up/DownToggleSwitch19 Stuck ON atpower up.Toggleswitch inputwas detectedas HIGH atstart-up.The Jib Up orDown functionswill not operate.Verify with a voltmeter that the JibUp/Down Toggle Switch (TS8) is operatingproperly.* C43JU (BL, PCON J17-6) should be 0 Vwith the switch OFF and 12 V with theswitch held in the UP position.* C44JD (BL/BK, PCON J17-8) should be0 V with the switch OFF and 12 V with theswitch held in the DOWN position.Cycle power to allow the machine tore-test the fault.14 BatteryVoltage15 Voltage islow.Batteryvoltage is toolow whileengine isrunning.Advisory fault.Machine is fullyfunctional.Verify with a voltmeter that the alternator isoperating properly.* With the engine running, battery voltageshould be above 12.3 V.* Verify alternator and power wiring.* Replace alternator if necessary.* Replace battery if necessary.
