Service and Repair Manual December 2018Repair Procedures14 Z®-60/37 DC • Z®-60/37 FE Part No. 1271125GTCalibration Process StepsIt is required to perform the calibration process ifsystem defaults have been reset or if new softwarehas been installed. Any deviation in the order ofthese steps could result in improper machinefunction and fault codes to display.1 Set system defaults: Turn the machine on atthe ground controls and immediately move andhold both the function enable and auxiliaryenable switches for 5 secondsResult: an alarm will sound indicating thesystem has been restored to defaults.2 Calibrate the pressure relief valve: Refer toRepair Procedures, How to Adjust theProportional Relief Valve and HydraulicPressure Sensor.Note: Perform this procedure prior to calibratingother hydraulic functions.3 Calibrate the universal tilt sensor: Refer toRepair Procedures, How to Calibrate UniversalTilt Sensor.4 Calibrate the primary and secondary anglesensor stowed positions: Refer to RepairProcedures, How to Calibrate Booms AngleSensors.Note: The one point calibration is optional. It allows2 MPH / 3.2 Km/h travel if machine needs to beimmediately moved.5 Calibrate the steer angle sensor: Refer toRepair Procedures, How to Calibrate the SteerAngle Sensor.6 Complete calibrating the Primary andSecondary angle sensors stowed andelevated positions: Refer to RepairProcedures, How to Calibrate Booms AngleSensors.7 Verify pump efficiency calibration: Refer toRepair Procedures, How to Calibrate FunctionPump.8 Set hydraulic valve thresholds for turntablerotate, primary up/down, secondary up/down,primary extend/retract, jib up/down, andplatform rotate: Refer to Repair Procedures,How to Adjust the Joystick Threshold Setting.9 Set low flow hydraulic valves for jib up/downand platform rotate: Refer to RepairProcedures, How to Adjust the MaximumSpeed Setting (Hydraulic Functions).10 Set high flow hydraulic valves for primaryup/down, secondary up/down, primaryextend/retract and turntable rotate: Refer toRepair Procedures, How to Adjust theMaximum Speed Setting (HydraulicFunctions).11 Check oscillate function (if equipped).12 Clear the fault history: Refer to RepairProcedure, How to Clear Fault History.
