As part of a rationalisation program this network is being provided withSIP telecommunications based on the OSV and OpenStage phones.Communications for the Public Sector Network (PSN) is seen as originating from or terminatingto zones with differing 'impact' levels (the impact level indicates how the phone user shouldhandle the call conversation). The purpose is to notify the OpenStage phone users when theyare connecting or in a call where another party in the call is in a lower Impact Level (IL) zone.This feature uses a UI mechanism to notify/remind the phone user that the call may requirespecial treatment. This involves special icons, text indications, and special audio (ringer or toneas appropriate). There are no restrictions on call handling as a result of any special status forthe call.Thus the Lower IL Impact Level Notification feature only involves UI changes that are triggeredby receiving new SIP headers and affects the following:• Prompts presented to alert for incoming calls• Prompts presented to monitor progress for outgoing calls• Connected call displays• Call scenarios involving multiple calls• Retrieving a held callHowever, since there are no call restrictions explicit for the Lower IL Impact Level Notificationfeature the solution needs to consider some additional scenarios:• Group pickup• Directed pickup• Callback• CTI action• Shared lines on a KeysetThis feature cannot be turned off at the phone since it is driven solely by the OSV.|--- Admin|--- System|--- Features|--- Configuration|--- Missed call LED
