If the value is less than 15% the Oil must be changed and a reset performed.The service tool will then perform the Reset. The 'Remaining Oil Life' parameter will beread from the Engine Control Module and displayed again. It will read 100% if the resethas been successful.Mercedes vehiclesThere are two different types of servicing for Mercedes, Assyst Plus and FlexibleService System. The currentservice status information will be displayed.To abort the reset, press the key. Confirmation of the service being aborted willbe displayed, press any key for this point to return to the Assyst Plus menu. Toproceed with the reset press .The oil quality must be selected before the reset can be completed. To abort the reset,press the key. Confirmation the reset has aborted will be displayed, press any keyto return to the Assyst Plus menu. To select the oil quality used for the service fromthe menu use the and keys and press to confirm the selection.The result of the reset will be displayed, press any key to return to the Assyst Plusmenu.
