Keys, doors, bonnet34Central locking switchUse the central locking switch (arrowed) tolock or unlock the doors from inside thevehicle.Press the bottom of the switch to lock or Uto unlock.Automatic lockingThe central locking system can beactivated to automatically lock the doorsas soon as a speed of approximately4 mph (6 km/h) is reached.To activateWith the ignition switched on, press thecentral locking switch on the locking side(opposite U) and hold for approx. 5seconds, until audible confirmation isheard.To deactivateWith the ignition switched on, press U onthe central locking switch and hold forapproximately 5 seconds, until audibleconfirmation is heard.Unlocking the doorThe doors are unlocked by opening anydoor from inside the vehicle or byoperating the central locking switch.FaultIn the event of a fault e.g. automaticlocking doesn’t take place, ensure all thedoors have been properly closed. Check toensure that the automatic locking functionhas not been deactivated inadvertently. Ifthis is the case, switch the ignition off andon again and reactivate the system asdescribed previously.If the automatic locking function still fails tooperate, consult a workshop.
