These discs can get jammedin the CD drive and ruin the drive.An expensive replacement of thedevice will then be necessary.■ Audio CDs with copy protection,which are not in compliance withthe audio CD standard, may notplay correctly or not at all.■ Self-recorded CD-Rs and CD-RWsand WMA files with Digital RightsManagement (DRM) from onlinemusic shops may not play correctlyor not at all.■ On mixed mode CDs (combinationsof audio and data, e.g. MP3), onlythe audio tracks will be detectedand played.■ Self-recorded CD-Rs and CD-RWsare more vulnerable to mishandlingthan prerecorded CDs.
